Charging pressure regulators are installed in the vacuum hose upstream of the wastegate valve and regulate the amount of air that reaches the wastegate valve. If the boost pressure is to be increased by a certain value compared to the standard set pressure, the control valve must precisely release the difference between the new and the old boost pressure. This delays the triggering of the wastegate valve and forces the turbocharger to generate more charge pressure.

Technical information:
Select between low and high boost pressure using the switch while driving. Both the low and the high boost wastegatebe easily adjusted on the unit. Available with blue or black housing.
