Charging pressure regulators are installed in the vacuum hose upstream of the wastegate valve and regulate the amount of air that reaches the wastegate valve. If the boost pressure is to be increased by a certain value compared to the standard set pressure, the control valve must precisely release the difference between the new and the old boost pressure. This delays the triggering of the wastegate valve and forces the turbocharger to generate more charge pressure.

Technical information:
Boost Tee is one of the easiest ways to control boost pressure. By using Boost Tee, the turbocharger reaches the maximum boost pressure (up to 500 rpm) sooner than without Boost Tee, thus improving the response of the engine. This boost pressure regulator is easy to install and requires minimal maintenance.
